fitted sheet

up in the hayloft – a cool, aged red

barn fitted sheet - california king
barn fitted sheet - california king - Image 2

Our fitted sheets have elastic around the entire top and bottom ends, not just the corners, so they won’t pop off in the night! Available in a selection of depths and sizes to accommodate all sorts of mattresses.

barn is a cool, aged red

We use a 100% cotton fabric called muslin. It’s thicker and more textured than the average fabric used in sheet making. Just like a new pair of jeans they can take a bit of breaking in, but get softer and lovelier with each wash, while retaining their more rustic texture and all-season breathability. Read more here.

Items are sewn and then dyed in small batches. This means you may see variations in colour both within and between items. Read more about choosing colours here.

For dyed bedding, we recommend a cold wash and a hot/warm dry. This will prolong the life of the colour. Read more here.

We make our bedding in our small workshop in Burnaby. You can read more about that here.

We make our bedding in Canada. This means our product complies with CUSMA / USMCA origin requirements and can be imported into the USA tariff free. We ship with all the necessary documentation. If you plan to carry bedding across the border we can give you documents in store.

size: california king

183cm (72") wide, 213cm (84") long, up to up to 28cm (11") - all sizes are approximate
for other sizes see our size chart

King beds are about 80 inches (203cm) across. We usually use a slightly wider muslin for king sheets that allows us to move the seams to the edges, similarly to our queen and double sheets. We still add a panel along each side with the seams running along the right and left edge of the bed.
California king sheets are made to order, are final sale and not exchangeable. If you are unsure about any colours, please visit our store or click here to order free swatches to see the colours in person before ordering your sheet.
