we make a wide range of sizes. Not sure what you need?
see our full size chart here

the following sizes are fairly rare, so they will be specially made to order for you. This means they are final sale items.

take measurements at the middle, between the head and foot of your mattress, with something hard and flat like a hardcover book on top by where you’re about to measure. Then measure from the bottom of the book to the bottom of your mattress.

if you’re unsure what size bedding is needed for your mattress, get in touch with your measurements and we’ll get you sorted out.

we don’t offer a warranty, but if anything unusual happens with your bedding, please get in touch with us.

fabric

we use 100% cotton muslin. It’s woven with a thick thread, creating a plush, textured fabric.

we love the way it feels. cotton muslin has been our brand for the last 25+ years, because it’s breathable, durable and comfortable in every season.

yes! while they are more textured than your basic department store cotton sheets, through washing and use, they will get softer over time.

cotton muslin is not measured in thread count, it’s measured in weight. we use a 4oz muslin, with a texture comparable to linen.

some people wear through sheets quickly while others have used our sheets for 10+ years. on average you can expect a lifespan of approximately 3-5 years, however, this is not a guarantee.

muslin is a durable fabric, but there are a number of variables that affect how long a piece of bedding may last. fitted sheets are the hardest to estimate as they see the most strenuous use on a daily basis.

colour & dye

yes! we offer swatches to help you choose from our 60+ colours.

You can order up to 10 for free, we’ll mail them to you.

we dye in small batches by hand.

the outcome of a dyelot is affected by the variability of cotton, seasonal temperatures, water mineral content, and different batches of dye from our suppliers.

ordering pieces at the same time is the best way to get a close match between individual items.

if you’re looking to add to your collection and are concerned with how things will look, we recommend choosing complimentary colours rather than trying to colour match.

if left sitting wet for a prolonged period, colour can transfer onto other pieces of fabric. particularly when your bedding is brand new.

as the fabric breaks in over time the dye will patina. areas of high wear will lighten.

direct and prolonged exposure to sunlight will result in a bleaching effect.

speckling is a natural occurrence in some of our marbles. It has to do with pigment composition and solubility in the dyes we use. dyes made of multiple pigments tend to speckle – it’s all part of the process!
