reversible queen sized duvet cover

mix & match 2 colours to make it your own

$235.00

Each reversible duvet cover is made and dyed specifically for the person who orders it, so they are final sale items. Please take a moment to look at and read about the colours you are considering by visiting their individual pages, accessible from our solid & marble dyed bedding page. If you are unsure about any colours, please order free swatches of those colours before you buy a reversible duvet cover.

Because two colours will be sewn together, reversible duvet covers can need a bit more attention when it comes to laundry and certain combinations may be easier to launder than others. Feel free to contact us to ask about how a combo that you are interested in might look and wash. Detailed washing instructions are found in the dropdown area below.

Reversible duvet covers have a different colour on each side. Please, go HERE to purchase a solid or marble duvet cover that is the same colour on both sides.

Please be aware that if you fail to follow these washing instructions it can lead to colour bleeding from one side to the other.
Also, even in the best circumstances, if you have chosen two highly contrasting colours (eg. dark blue and yellow or unbleached and dark grey) you may still see some colour bleeding at the seams where the sides meet.

• Wash in cold water and then dry completely in a hot dryer.
• Use your normal detergent (which should contain no whitening/brightening agents or bleach).
• Don’t use vinegar.
• Avoid going to bed with wet hair, wet or acidic facial/body creams.
• Don’t let your duvet cover sit wet. Dye transfer can happen anytime dyed fabric is wet and sits in contact with other fabric.
• Wash and dry your cover immediately if it gets wet.

With such a wide array of hand-made products, in a variety of colours & sizes, we definitely do not have every item in-stock at all times and some items may need to be backordered for you. This, along with the current inventory levels will be clearly noted on the product page once you choose a specific size. When your full order is completed, we will either ship your items via Canada Post and provide a tracking number, or if you opted for in-store pickup, we will email you to let you know when your order is ready – please wait to hear from us before making a trip to the store to pick up any items that you have purchased, as some ‘in-stock’ items may still be at our workshop. Please allow 4-5 weeks for the production of backordered stock and reversible duvet covers. Get more information on our inventory & ordering system by clicking here.

All dyeing is done by hand in small batches (about a set of queen-sized items, i.e. duvet cover, fitted sheet & 2 pillowcases), so dyelots will vary slightly. If you order multiple pieces in the same colour, you should expect to see some variation in the shade and tone of the colour across the items. Sometimes you’ll see small specks or smudges of another colour on your sheets and this comes down to the fact that a real human being made them by hand – try as we might these can’t be completely avoided. The typical variation in colour that may occur can be seen by viewing all the images on a colour’s category page. Marble dyes have the most variance in colour within an item, each item has a unique, random pattern that can include large clusters or small flecks of other colours such as fuschia, orange or blue, depending upon how individual dyes disperse. Every computer monitor will display colours somewhat differently, so use our colour images as guidelines – the actual colour may not be exactly as displayed by your computer. For an explanation about why colours sometimes look different online and in person, check out our about colour page. Following our washing instructions will keep colours true for a long time, while the cotton will get softer and softer, a lot like your favourite, old jeans.
